THE PLOT:
It's the future and a terraforming project on Mars to relocation overpopulated humans go horribly wrong, as workers uncover
an ancient temple and awaken an ancient evil called Negadon who makes a beeline to Tokyo from Mars for some reason and starts
destroying everything in sight.
Now Earth's only hope rest in an aging scientist and his experimental giant robot, but the scientist is haunted by the
daughter he lost in a accident while building the robot years ago.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Okay, this is a good premise for a story, but at less then half an hour I'm afraid that is all that it mainly be. It's good
but way too short for anything but a premise. They leave gapping questions, like what Negadon was other then a big monster
from Mars, was it responsible for Mars destruction and how long ago was that. What possessed him to take his daughter to
work the day of the accident. Gaps in story and characters is apparent and I must give it a mere 5 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd on the negative points but on the positive side, the animation is wonderful. But makes you wonder why they
did it? They didn't need testing for the Final Fantasy movie anymore so that wasn't it. Makes you wonder, anyway, the climax
wasn't only short coming but it was disappointing without giving it away. 4 STARS mainly for the animation and Negadon.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ ANIMATION (The animation is assume.)
+ STORY (The basic premise works, but needed more work be a real story.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- SHORT (Being less then half an hour makes it suffer in story, plot and character development.)
- CHARACTERS (Not enough time for character development.)
- QUESTIONS (Allot of whys come to mind.)
- CLIMAX (Disappointing and too soon.)
- SUBTITLED (We always prefer a dubbed version.)
...AND FINALLY...
- NOT FOR EVERYONE (If you aren't into giant monsters, then this isn't for you.)
