THE PLOT:
The villains from Planet Doom has made an alliance with the devils of the Drule Empire. Together they make a terrible threat
worse. To make matters worse Haggar has trapped Allura in a nightmare from which there is no waking from and it's up to Keith
to save her or they can't stop the new Robeast threat. A threat that may be to great for one Voltron to handle alone.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This is a purely American animation with no connection to either anime shows whatsoever. Golion ended a whole season before
this movie was conceived and what I can see there was no connection between these two shows. But as a purely American show
it has it's strong points. Good animation, not great animation, there were several mistakes in the animation. All and all
a worthy thing to watch if you grew up with Voltron like I did or have robot loving kids, 9 STARS.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I never liked the dumb down factors of these shows. Yet they wonder why kids get hurt imitating things. The parents should
teach the kids and not just sit them in from the TV, forget about them then complain when they get themselves hurt for imitating
something not knowing it's only TV. Plus if kids knew about death and doing something stupid might end your life well maybe
they won't be so quick to do something stupid. That's just my opinion, don't like it. Then you're an idiot! 8 STARS.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ ANIMATION (For the most part very well done except for the mistakes.)
+ CAST (The cast does a good job.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ MONSTERS (Robot monsters are always cool.)
+ HUMOR (As always Voltron has a good humor without losing the serious side.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- DUMBED DOWN (VOLTRON didn't like the dumbed down parts of it.)
- ANIMATION BLUNDERS (Several major animation blunders litter the movie.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of Voltron or prefer Golion, then this isn't for you.)
